Ingredients: Coriander Seeds, Whole Cumin Seeds, Fennel Seeds, Thyme Leaves, Marjoram Leaves, Sesame Seeds, and Black Peppercorns.

Uses: Sprinkle on or in dips (especially delicious when combined with olive oil), bread, hummus, vegetables, grains, potatoes, salads, fish, and poultry.

A Dukkha history:
Dukkah is a Middle Eastern and Egyptian mixture of nuts, seeds, and spices. The precise components often vary, although roasted almonds, sesame seeds, coriander, and cumin are among the most frequent.
According to Amy Chaplin’s cookbook at Home in the Whole Food Kitchen, dukkah is generally served as a dip with olive oil and bread, but there are many other ways to utilize it (see some of my favorites below).
Today, dukkah is available in many spice shops and supermarkets, but for the greatest taste, I suggest creating it yourself.
